Upon landing at Riyadh International Airport, proceed through Passport Control for immigration. After collecting your luggage and completing customs formalities, head towards the arrivals area, where a representative from Odysseer will be waiting to assist with your transfer to the hotel and ensure a smooth check-in.

Riyadh boasts Saudi Arabia's top museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that tells the story of the Kingdom's origins, and some of the finest restaurants in the country. Overnight at your hotel in Riyadh.

Day 2 - Riyadh & Diriyah Exploration

After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour to discover the cultural and historical heart of Riyadh. Your journey begins at Murabba Palace, one of the most significant palaces built by King Abdul-Aziz to house his family. The palace, constructed in the traditional Nadji architectural style using local materials, offers a glimpse into the royal past.

Next, visit the iconic Masmak Fortress and the National Museum to step back in time and explore Saudi Arabia's deep historical roots. At the fortress, you'll also watch a short documentary that reenacts its capture by King Abdul Aziz, whose spear can still be seen lodged in its wooden gate.

Then, venture into Dira Souq, where you can shop for traditional Saudi treasures like copper, brass artefacts, antique carpets, and Bedouin jewellery.

Afterwards, visit the historical area of Diriyah, home to the At-Turaif UNESCO World Heritage Site, before soaking in the traditional charm of the Al Bujairy district. End the day with breathtaking views of the city from the Skybridge at the Kingdom Tower. Overnight stay in Riyadh.

Day 3 - Riyadh to AlUla

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch your self-booked flight to AlUla, a city steeped in history and heritage. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring AlUla at your own pace. Overnight stay in AlUla.

Day 4 - AlUla - Hegra, Dadan & Jabal Ikmah

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before setting off for a day of discovery at Hegra, Saudi Arabia's most iconic historical site and the first UNESCO World Heritage site in the Kingdom. Known as Hijra to the Nabateans and later referred to as Hegra by the Romans, this site flourished in the 1st century AD under the rule of King Al-Harith IV.

Next, marvel at Maraya, a stunning mirrored architectural masterpiece that blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape of the Ashar Valley. Continue your exploration at Dadan, the ancient capital of two historic Arabian kingdoms, before venturing to Jabal Ikmah. This unique desert site is often referred to as an ‘open-air library’ for its vast collection of inscriptions and rock art.

Day 5 - AlUla Immersion

Following breakfast, continue exploring the rich heritage of AlUla, once home to two powerful Arabian kingdoms during the 1st millennium BC. Visit AlUla Old Town, where you can walk through the public library, Madrasat Addeera, Almashiyah Plaza, AlUla Oasis, and Daimumah. Discover AlUla’s ghost town, also known as Ad-Deerah, which was inhabited until the 20th century and now offers a window into centuries-old Arabian life.

In the evening, head to the iconic Elephant Rock to witness the magical transformation of this natural wonder as the sun sets, casting a brilliant glow over its crimson sandstone form. Overnight in AlUla.

Day 6 - AlUla – Departure

At the appropriate time, transfer to AlUla airport for your return flight home. We hope you take with you unforgettable memories of your journey through Saudi Arabia’s historic landscapes and vibrant cities.
