Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Riyadh

Arrive at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport and smoothly pass through immigration and customs. You’ll be warmly welcomed by Odysseer’s representative, who will assist with your transfer to the hotel and check-in. Get ready to explore one of the wealthiest cities in the world, renowned for its captivating mix of tradition and modernity. Settle into your hotel and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2 - Riyadh Heritage and Cultural Exploration

After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour through Riyadh's historical heart. Visit the Murabba Palace, built by King Abdul-Aziz in the traditional Najdi style, and then explore the Masmak Fort, a symbol of Saudi unification, where the spear of King Abdul-Aziz remains embedded in the wooden gate. Discover Saudi Arabia’s rich history at the National Museum and enjoy a stroll through Dira Souq, where local copper, brass, and antique Bedouin jewellery await. Visit Diriyah, the birthplace of the Kingdom, and enjoy a panoramic view of Riyadh from the Skybridge at Kingdom Tower.

Day 3 - Edge of the World & Ushaiqer Heritage Village

Today, venture out of Riyadh to experience the jaw-dropping Edge of the World, a geological marvel offering dramatic views of endless horizons. After soaking in the beauty of the cliffs, continue to the Ushaiqer Heritage Village, an oasis nestled in the heart of the Najd region, where you’ll take a step back in time to explore traditional mud-brick houses, winding alleys, and ancient mosques that showcase a slower-paced Saudi society. Return to Riyadh in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Riyadh to AlUla

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your self-arranged flight to AlUla, Saudi Arabia’s hidden gem known for its ancient history and unique desert landscapes. Upon arrival, an Odysseer representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, exploring AlUla at your own pace or simply unwinding at your accommodation.

Day 5 - AlUla - Hegra, Dadan & Jabal Ikmah Exploration

After breakfast, begin your day by visiting Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can marvel at the impressive Nabatean tombs and inscriptions. Continue your journey to the ancient cities of Dadan and Jabal Ikmah, often referred to as an open-air library due to its plethora of ancient rock inscriptions. The captivating desert setting is the perfect backdrop for understanding the region's rich history. Return to the hotel in AlUla for a relaxing evening.

Day 6 - Discovering AlUla’s Oasis and Elephant Rock

Spend the day exploring AlUla Old Town, where ancient streets, forts, and houses reveal centuries of history. Visit the AlUla Oasis and take in the scenic beauty of palm groves and desert landscapes. As the sun sets, experience the mystical beauty of Elephant Rock, where the glowing sandstone formation creates an unforgettable view. 

Day 7 - AlUla to Jeddah

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your self-arranged flight to the coastal city of Jeddah. Upon arrival, an Odysseer representative will assist with your hotel transfer. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, exploring Jeddah’s modern attractions or relaxing by the Red Sea.

Day 8 - Full Day Jeddah City Tour 

Start your day with a visit to the Al Tayebat International City, a museum showcasing the heritage of Jeddah and the wider Arabian Peninsula. Discover the stunning Floating Mosque on the Red Sea coast before moving to Al-Balad, Jeddah’s historical district, where you'll wander through its narrow streets, admire the traditional houses, and visit Beit Nassif. End your day with a scenic stop at the King Fahad Fountain.

Day 9 - Departure from Jeddah

In time, transfer to Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport for your return flight home, bringing with you unforgettable memories of Saudi Arabia’s historical treasures and breathtaking landscapes.
